Team history:

The Polish Sports Association for the Disabled “Start” in Warsaw is the organiser of the national competitions, training consultations and camps. The Poland National Team (Mens) has been taking part in international competitions uninterrupted since 1997. While the women’s made a debut during 2009 European Championships in Elblag (Poland).
The best results of the Polish National Team (Mens) were recorded in the 2005 European Championships – 5th place and 2011, 2013 and 2015 – 6th place. Also we were entered in to a following competitions : 2014 World Championships in Elblag (Poland) and 2016 Intercontinental Cup in Anji (China).

Main players:

- Robert Wydera – he was nominated to All Stars Team and awarded with the title of Best Defender on 2015 European Championships in Warendorf. This was the first distinction of Polish sitting volleyballer at this level. He is still young player (20 years old) and he has a great development prospects.

Interesting players:

- All our players have interesting story of life and sitting volleyball. Some of them playing at international level 20 years and still have fun. Some of them like Robert Wydera growing up with us and sitting volleyball.

Other information:

We want to reappear our women's National Team in 2019 European Championships.
